An engineer’s approach
to making things.

I’m Tej. I build things in a workshop in Calgary and show the work at @tejslab. The ones worth making twice end up here as kits.

Prototyping in public.

A workshop, a few printers, and everything that comes out of them, in public. That’s most of what @tejslab is.

In late 2025 my method for printing PETG nearly transparent got picked up by Hackaday, Core77 and most of the maker press. That is how it tends to go here: solve something properly on the bench, publish the method, and find out how many people were stuck on the same thing.

The kits come out of that. I finish my own prints, people kept asking what I was using, and eventually the answer was easier to ship than to explain.
